Loop

Behind the design.

Good design is at the heart of what we do at Roper Rhodes. Recognised with a prestigious Red Dot Award, our Loop mirror is no exception. But what makes for an award-winning product? From the first sketch right through to the finished piece, watch how we brought this design journey to life

The brief

Loop

The idea behind Loop was driven by a number of common everyday problems - inadequate lighting and detail, a misty reflection, and a general lack of ergonomic mirror design.

Our brief was to challenge and improve the everyday experience, to introduce better light and offer versatility - Loop was the result.

The design

Loop

Over the course of two years, we worked collaboratively to hone Loop's design. From the quality of the reflection and the level of magnification to how the design best fits in the palm of a hand- every point along the user journey was tested and considered.

In terms of the form - we knew the design needed to meet all the criteria of the brief, while also being visually appealing and complementing our existing product designs.

The result is a design we are especially proud of. The perfect pairing for your daily routine, the Loop Wall Mirror and Loop Magnifying Vanity Mirror combine to offer both the compact magnifying function of the vanity, with the large surface reflection and statement design of the illuminated wall mirror.
