What made you want to renovate your bathroom?

Where it all started

"When we moved into our home over a year ago, we knew right away that the bathrooms needed a refresh. The house is 20 years old, and while the spaces were functional, they didn’t reflect our style or personality. With three bathrooms to renovate, we decided to take it one step at a time, starting with a completely blank canvas. Our goal was to transform the space by adding color, texture, and character—creating a bathroom that felt fresh, inviting, and uniquely ours."

What was the brief?

"For the downstairs WC, we wanted to create a space that felt both welcoming and cosy - somewhere guests would enjoy stepping into. Since it’s a smaller room, we saw it as an opportunity to have fun with the design and make a bold statement. We aimed to add character, texture, and personality while ensuring it remained practical and inviting. It was all about striking the right balance between style and function, making the most of the compact space."

How do you feel about the final outcome?

"We couldn’t be happier with how the renovation has come together. Every detail, from the colors to the finishes, has helped transform the space into something truly special. What was once just a functional room is now a stylish and inviting WC that we’re proud to show off. It’s amazing how a well-thought-out design can make such a big impact, even in a small space!"
